New procedure for determination of H2S
Principle:
H2S is extracted completely from liquid sample and transferred to the electrochemical sensor.
Mode of operation:
The animation shows how the H2S Analyzer works.
Advantages:
- No sample preparation
- Low cross sensitivity
- Fast gas extraction
- Short measuring time (5 – 10 min)
- Variable sample volume 0.01 - 20 mL
- Wide measuring range
Monitoring of H2S
Measuring and control system for early detection of H2S contamination
The H2S content in the entire channel system can be quantitatively measured and monitored with the online analyzer using several selected fixed measuring points (monitoring). The current H2S concentration is detected in the inlet (e.g. pump sump or inlet waste water pipes), in the waste water collection basin and at the end of the waste water pipe.

The measured data are then transmitted online to an Internet-enabled computer workstation (control room) and can also be called up at any time via protected Internet access.

The control module of the H2S Analyzer then determines independently and on the basis of wastewater volume, temperature and composition as well as the seasonal conditions and the wastewater profile an always optimal dosage of the wastewater chemical with treatment agent.

Conclusion
With the H2S Analyzer, we have developed a measuring device that measures H2S at various points in the wastewater pipe on the basis of a new measuring method and determines the required quantity of treatment chemicals with pinpoint accuracy.

The emergence of H2S is recognized early on, which results in considerable cost savings, solves ecological problems and promotes the digitization of wastewater management.

Conclusion
Optimisation of chemical dosage
The optimisation of chemical treatment of wastewater is vitally important. Thereby the following will be reached out:

- Prevention of overdosage
- Saving of expensive chemicals
- Increasing the lifetime of the collection systems
